ASU and Yousif Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award Discuss Enhancing Cooperation in Education, Innovation, and Scientific Research
Applied Science University (ASU) received a high-level delegation from the Yousif Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award, in a visit that reflects the depth of national partnership and the shared interest in supporting the journey of education, innovation, and scientific research in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Leading the reception were H.E. Professor Waheeb Al-Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and H.E. Professor Hatem Masri, President of the University, in the presence of the Vice Presidents and several academic and administrative officials.

Applied Science University (ASU) received a high-level delegation from the Yousif Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award, in a visit that reflects the depth of national partnership and the shared interest in supporting the journey of education, innovation, and scientific research in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Leading the reception were H.E. Professor Waheeb Al-Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and H.E. Professor Hatem Masri, President of the University, in the presence of the Vice Presidents and several academic and administrative officials.

The visiting delegation included H.E. Ms. Mona Mubarak Kanoo, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Yousif Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award, along with esteemed members of the Board. During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation and exchange expertise, contributing to the support of the academic and research environment and the development of qualitative initiatives that serve both students and the community.

In this context, H.E. Professor Waheeb Al-Khaja emphasized ASU's keenness to expand horizons of cooperation with the Yousif Bin Ahmed Kanoo Award. He noted that this partnership represents a leading model of integration between educational and national institutions, supporting scientific excellence and enhancing the quality of educational outcomes in line with Bahrain’s aspirations toward a knowledge-based economy.

For her part, H.E. Ms. Mona Mubarak Kanoo expressed her pride in this visit, affirming that cooperation with ASU is a strategic step toward supporting young national talent and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. She pointed out that the Award always strives to build effective partnerships with leading academic institutions to create a positive and sustainable impact on society.

Furthermore, H.E. Professor Hatem Masri explained that the university places great importance on supporting innovation and scientific research. It continuously seeks to build fruitful relationships with prominent national institutions to develop academic programs and provide an educational environment that stimulates creativity.
